52 BOOK CHALLENGE STICKERS

PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE BE SURE YOU DON'T ASSUME YOU ARE CLICKING ON THE 2024 STICKERS THROUGH THE LIKE GIVEN ON THE 52 BOOK CLUB PAGE. I DID AND I DIDN'T VERIFY THE YEAR BEFORE PLACING MY ORDER. SO I RECEIVED THE 2023 STICKERS. WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT THE 2023 STICKERS AT THE END OF 2023???? IF IT WAS MY BUSINESS, I WOULD HAVE SENT A QUICK EMAIL TO THE CUSTOMER TO BE SURE WHAT YEAR THEY WANTED. ANYWAY, I RECEIVED 2023 STICKERS WHICH ARE NO USE TO ME. I COULD HAVE MAILED THEM BACK TO CANADA, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE MAILED TO ME FROM NEW YORK. IT WOULD HAVE COST ME $35 TO REUTRN THE STICKERS TO THE CANADA ADDRESS. I SENT NUMEROUS E-MAILS QUESTIONING THIS AND RECEIVED NO REPLY, SO I SENT THEM BACK TO THE ADDRESS THEY SENT THEM TO ME FROM IN NEW YORK. THEY HAD A TRACKING NUMBER AND INSURANCE. THEY RECEIVED THEM IN NEW YORK AND NOW THEY ARE SAYING THEY CAN NOT GIVE ME CREDIT FOR THE STICKERS BECAUSE I DIDN'T MAIL THEM BACK TO CANADA!!!! THE STICKERS WOULD BE DESTROYED!?!?! OF COURSE THEY DESTROYED 2023 STICKERS!!!! THEY AREN'T ANY USE TO THEM ! THEY JUST MADE EXTRA $$ IFF OF ME. THEY HAVE THE STICKERS AND MY MONEY AND I'M OUT $27 for stickers and shipping to me and $5.05 shipping stickers back to them that they received. I've learned my lesson dealing with a business I know nothing about. DISAPPOINTED!!!

To address the concerns/question in your review:

1. After investigating, we can confirm that you clicked on the 2024 listing initially, and then clicked on this 2023 listing afterwards before completing your purchase.

2. There are still people ordering 2023 stickers for their own respective reasons.

3. Our job is to ensure customers receive the correct item(s) ordered, at the quality we promised. What is ordered is solely within the control of the customer. Our store policy actually states no returns/exchanges. Your request was actually a one-time exception.

4. We are a small business located in Canada. That is why you were INSTRUCTED to return the items to a Canadian address. Our email correspondence also shows that there was no alternative mailing address provided for the return process. Just the one.

5. Your email on Nov 30th stated: 'it is costing close to $24 to send back” (not $35). Followed by “so guess I’m just stuck with the wrong stickers I can’t use”, indicating you have decided to not send them back. There were also no question(s) in this specific email to answer.

6. We contract a US courier to deliver to our US customers, that is why their depot address is on the package. They are responsible solely for deliveries, not for handling or processing refunds.

7. Any and all rejected/non-deliverable mail sent back to the US courier gets destroyed/disposed of – regardless of content matter or reason.

I hope this clarifies as to why your refund was not processed.
